The author compares a particular process which is designed for a particular task with another that means learning how to do that task in the proper way. In my case, neural networks are interesting because they are so smart, they are so fast in processing, they can learn small quantities of new information quickly and under a high level of computer awareness, they are easy to manipulate over many computer components. In other words, natural aspects of a machine can provide a great deal of information, but the natural features are in a machine that will like this certain tasks with little to no physical effort.
